Padded
What is it : These bras have padding inside the lining. Available in a variety of thicknesses, they are designed to provide a fuller shape for small breasts. Unlike push-up bras, however, most padded bras support the breasts but do not significantly lift them.
Ideal for : Western formals, casual wear, evening dresses.

Loading more productsPadded Bras are available in a variety of padding. These bras are great for increasing the size of your breasts.
- You can choose the level of padding, and where it is positioned on the bra, to ensure that you get the look you want: all-over padding will enhance the shape of your breasts, whereas padding at the bottom of the cup will push your breasts upwards, creating great cleavage!
- Padded styles are also great if you wish to minimize nipple-points or nipple-show during daily activities.
- Padded bras are also good to wear if you have a larger cup size, not to enhance their shape, but to give support and uplift.
- The first padded bra was found in 1880 and now resides in the London Science Museum.
Trivia:
- Padded bras were initially developed to protect the breasts of athletes during training!
- The original commercial padded bra gave a conical shape to the breast, and became known as ‘falsies’ due to the fake and pointy appearance it gave to the breasts.
