#1 You\u2019re wearing the wrong size<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s the oldest and the most common reason. A large number of women spend years wearing the wrong size bra<\/a>. This can be uncomfortable and even unhealthy. One easy way to find out is to check if the centre gore that connects the two cups lies flat against your chest or not. If it doesn\u2019t touch your skin, you may need to opt for a bigger size. Or if there is a gap between your breast and the bra cup, then you need a smaller size. Either way, it\u2019s best to get correctly measured. #2 You need to change your bra style<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite getting the size right, you could still suffer from loose bra straps. Because if you are wearing the wrong bra style that doesn\u2019t account for your shoulder width, breast firmness and fullness, then you could experience slipping straps too. For example, if you\u2019re a petite size, a balconette may be more comfortable. On the other hand, curvier women may need more support and should opt for bras will full coverage cups. When you get the size as well as the style right, the straps are sure to stay in place.<\/p>\n

#3 You need to adjust it right<\/span><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t overcompensate for loosening straps by tightening them too much. If your bra strap is cutting into the flesh of your shoulder, you aren\u2019t doing it right. Make sure the band on your bra is on a snug setting and adjust the band to sit just below your shoulder blades. Tighten the straps and bend forward to make sure your breasts sit comfortably in the cups. If the back band of your bra keeps riding up through the day, it could also cause the straps to fall off.<\/p>\n
