These Indian women have taken the stand-up comedy world by storm! They’ve conquered the stage in their own ‘funny’ way and aren’t afraid to speak their heart out! Watch these hilarious women tickle the audience with their wit and words!
1. Aditi Mittal
One of India’s top stand-up comedians, Aditi has a very sarcastic and witty way of narrating any incident. You might recognize her from the (in)famous AIB Roast with Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor. Her famous stand-up series titled ‘Things They Wouldn’t Let Me Say’ has made her extremely popular. Here’ my personal favorite piece of her act.

 

2. Mallika Dua 
Latest sensation in the funny world! In a very short period of time, she has gained huge popularity for her super funny Snapchat characters (Make-up didi and her cousins). She makes the best use of her obvious Punjabi-ness and it’s a real treat to watch! Watch her hilarious video where she shops from Sarojini Nagar like a pro.

 

3. Radhika Vaz
An advertising professional, she joined the comedy club in her late 30s and talks about her life experiences in the most hilarious way. She has been doing comedy in Mumbai and New York and her book ”Unladylike: The Pitfalls of Propriety’’ has gained a lot of popularity in last two years. 4. Sumukhi Suresh
Born and raised in Bangalore, she shifted to Mumbai to pursue her career in comedy and quickly gained immense popularity. She has a very unique take on common issues women face and can have you rolling around in no time! She has associated with AIB, Son Of Abish and also created a video for Zivame for Diwali. 5. Kaneez Surka
Kaneez is one of the first Indian women comedians who is into improvisation. Kaneez was born in South Africa and visited Mumbai in 2005. She fell in love with the city and decided to stay back and pursue her career in the City of Dreams. She performs solo and is also a part of the Improv Comedy Mumbai group. Watch her in the AIB video that was released soon after the controversy between Deepika Padukone and the Times of India.

 

6. Neeti Palta
A well-established advertising professional, she’s the one who gave a face to English stand-up comedy for women! She was voted as the best Stand Up Comic at the Oz Fest and was India’s first stand-up act to perform at Melbourne for the prestigious Melbourne Comedy Festival in 2013. She has performed in almost 20 cities in India and internationally. And she’s also written screenplays for a few Bollywood films. Watch her super funny take on Indian weddings.
