What is the best workout wear?

Although most women wear gym T-shirts and track pants, tights or shorts to the gym, others wear form-fitting gym tops in various designs like the halter neck, racerback, etc. It is also a good idea to check with your gym instructor or coordinator as to what is the general dress code there. From solid colour polyester tees in a relaxed fit to more form-fitting, printed and sleeveless T-shirts in a cotton blend, we have it all.

What clothes should women wear to the gym?

One should consider the activity they will be engaging in before deciding their outfit. For e.g. if you will be running on the treadmill, doing Pilates or using the cross-trainer, it is best to avoid wide-legged gym pants and baggy gym T-shirts. It’s also ideal to wear a high impact sports bra to avoid bouncing of the breasts. Medium and low impact sports bras are also available for lesser intensity activities.

Besides gym T-shirts, what else must I get as part of my gym wardrobe?

A good sports bra is a must if you are planning to unleash your inner fitness freak at the gym. Besides this, wrist and headbands, gloves for activities like rope exercises or weight-training, separate towels, socks and a duffel bag are a must.

What gym tee fabric is the best?

Gym T-shirts can be made from a combination of materials like nylon, viscose, cotton, spandex, etc. Make sure that you are not allergic to the fabric and it wicks away sweat with ease. Most gym tees are made to withstand the exertions of a rigorous exercise routine so there is usually nothing to worry about.
